ShipMsg API
Build on WhatsApp with ShipMsg
ShipMsg is a WhatsApp Business API platform. Send messages and templates, receive replies, run campaigns and track every delivery through one REST API with honest statuses: a message is only “delivered” when WhatsApp says so.
Start in the sandbox
Every account comes with a sandbox: a test WhatsApp number, test recipients that behave in predictable ways, and no charges. Nothing sent from the sandbox reaches a real phone. Follow the quickstart.

How the API works
- REST and JSON. Every resource lives under
/v1/accounts/{AC}/…, whereAC…is your account SID. Resources are named by prefixed IDs:SM…messages,WA…senders,TM…templates,CT…contacts. - Asynchronous delivery. Sending returns
202with aqueuedmessage. Its later statuses arrive as webhook events. - Safe retries. Every write takes an Idempotency-Key; the SDKs add one for you.
- Dated versions. Send
ShipMessages-Versionto pin the behaviour you built against. See versioning.
