Using the API well
Pagination
Lists are returned a page at a time, newest first, with a cursor to the next page.
{
"data": [ { "object": "message", "sid": "SM…" }, … ],
"hasMore": true,
"nextCursor": "eyJrIjoi…"
}Ask for up to limit items (usually 1–100), and pass nextCursor back as cursor to get the next page. Stop when hasMore is false. Cursors are opaque and tied to the list and filters that produced them — do not build or edit them.
curl "https://api.shipmsg.com/v1/accounts/$SHIPMESSAGES_ACCOUNT_SID/messages?limit=50&cursor=eyJrIjoi…" \
-H "Authorization: Bearer $SHIPMESSAGES_API_KEY"The SDKs’ paginate helpers follow the cursor for you. The API reference marks every paginated list.
